Speaker Agreement

The Drupal Developer Days Speaker Agreement serves to outline the expected responsibilities of speakers participating in DDD24, as devised by the Drupal Developer Days planning team. Please review the following points before submitting your session:

Compensation

Speakers receive one complimentary ticket per session and reimbursement for pre-purchased tickets. No other expenses are covered.

Speaker Profile

Speakers must complete their user profile along with session submission, ensuring accurate session scheduling.

Session Integrity

Sessions are chosen based on content, speaker experience, and description. If a session is selected, changes to session content or speakers require approval to maintain the integrity of the program.

Session Preparation

Speakers recognize the responsibility of speaking at Drupal Developer Days and commit to dedicating sufficient time and effort. In the event of inability to fulfill this commitment, speakers will promptly notify the planning team for a replacement.

Original Work

Speakers affirm that the material presented is either original work or material for which they possess the legal right to present. The speaker accepts responsibility for obtaining any necessary consents, permissions, and clearances for the display or use of any materials (visual and audio) incorporated in their session. The speaker acknowledges that their session is intended for information sharing and not as a marketing opportunity. They agree not to use their session to promote any company, brand, or product.

Staying On Topic and On Time

Speakers commit to staying focused on the session topic and ensuring alignment with the specified difficulty level (beginner, intermediate, advanced).

Drupal Developer Days Code of Conduct

Speakers must follow professional standards and the Code of Conduct to foster a respectful environment.

Unacceptable Behavior

A zero-tolerance policy is maintained for unacceptable behavior as outlined in the Drupal Developer Days Code of Conduct. Consequences for such behavior may include warnings, ending talks early, not publishing content, barring from future events, or revoking conference tickets.

Session Recording

Sessions will be recorded and made publicly available to extend the conference's reach and impact.
